Extra Fins
New work by Tim Plaisted

Extra Fins records strategies I’ve taken to learn about flight, only sometimes hindered by broken bones. Because we all fly at times, Extra Fins might be seen as ways for participants to improve at flying faster or more consistently.
Tim Plaisted works with digital and traditional materials. Current areas of investigation include flight, immersion using accessible, networked technology and play. Tim Plaisted is a Brisbane-based media artist. His previous work has been included in three Multimedia Art Asia Pacific Festivals and exhibited in Australia, Korea, Mexico, Singapore, Thailand, UK and USA and reviewed in Artforum.
