February 19 and 20, 2010 marks the fifth installment of the Hillside Film Festival. This year we have managed to find the best short films by filmmakers by Australian filmmakers under the age of thirty. We are hosting an amazing range of films, from the mockumentary Interview Artist Part Two where Sam Deloris Tool utilises his lack of basic people skills to frighten the likes of Rove, Hamish and Andy and Arj Barker, to a flirtation gone wrong in The Laudromat.

This year we are also lucky enough to be able to screen the underground cult hit Surfing 50 States, which documents two Aussie mates as they travel across America in a converted ice cream truck with the goal of surfing in every state. Their journey leads them to a host of bizarre situations, from surfing down a 15 foot pile of potatoes in Idaho, to being dragged behind a cowboy and his horse in Texas.

As always, this will be complimented by garden parties, live music and great food and wine, all in the beautful green leafy settings that is Belgrave's Cameo Outdoor Theatre.
