Getting Started
Where do I start?
The first step is to set up your profile.
You can browse events and read all of the content on The Program without a profile - however to save events to your calendar, add events, add friends, make comments, join a group or an organisation, or perform any other function, you do need to register.
Registration is quick and easy. It also allows you to connect to friends, family and colleagues and to use The Program as your social organiser. With a profile, you can save your preferences and have events, venues, groups and organisations recommended according to your tastes.

How do I set up my profile?
Click 'Sign Up' in the top menu bar and follow the prompts. You can also sign up using your Facebook profile if you have one.
Fill in your basic details then hit the ‘SIGN UP AND CREATE MY PROFILE’ bar when you’re done!
Once you sign up, a confirmation email will then be automatically sent to your specified address. This allows us to make sure you are a real person with a real email address. Open the message in your inbox and click on the link in the email to activate your profile.
You can now start personalising your profile. Add a little something short and sweet about yourself, upload your picture, hit save and voila! You are now a part of the Program community!
Next, put up an event; plan your social calendar; invite your friends or start a group!

I signed up and didn’t receive my confirmation email?
There are a few reasons this might have happened.
1. The email may have gone into your “junk email” folder. Check there first.
2. Your email service provider may have a really strong firewall that is blocking our activation email. This happens occasionally.
3. You may have typed your email address incorrectly – easy to do if you are in a rush! An erroneous full stop or underscore can make all the difference in the world.
If you can’t find your activation email in your “junk email” folder, then send us an email at info@theprogram.com.au We will take a look at your login details and activate your account for you.

How do I add a FLICKR account to my event/venue/organisation/personal profile?
Flickr http://www.flickr.com is a free online photo sharing tool, and is a great way to add extra images of your event or organisation to The Program. If you already have a Flickr account you can link it up to your Program profile or event.
Go to ‘Additional Info” tab and down the bottom, add your Flickr URL. Your Flickr images will then be included in your event/venue/organisation listing Audiences will be able to get a better idea/feel of your show or venue or be able to see past events – and maybe even a photo of themselves!)
Your Flickr reel will show up on the bottom right of your profile (note: only images tagged as ‘Publicly Visible’ in Flickr will able to be seen on the reel)
